Enterprise Data Architect – 5123

The Data Architect will work closely with other architects, product owners, data engineers, analysts and developers to design and implement large scale, complex and integrated enterprise data sets aligned with enterprise data principles and standards. May have to compile business requirements into data requirements. Influence solution design and delivery and work on analyzing, designing, ingesting, transforming and consolidating data and making it accessible and available to various data consumers.

• Collaborate closely with Data Architects, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, analysts and IT to complete assigned work.
• Focus on specific business capability areas, data domains.
• Collect and structure specification from business.
• Design data domain specific data models aligned with enterprise mandates.
• Drive delivery of data artifacts and deliverables (e.g. data models, data structures for business data domains, data transformations, etc.).
• Provide guidance to specific data domains.
• Create technology Proof-of-Concepts, prototypes and spike solutions.
• Flexible 1 day of on-site work in Budapest XIII, and expected to timely and physically present on meetings when required, typically during project onboarding which is the first one or two months after starting.
• Expected to adhere to specific agile cadence and project attendance requirements, e. g. Periodic project meetings, workshop and agile ceremonies that may span multiple timezones.

• Understands structure of data assets and data management resources.
• Fluent English communication skills are desirable.
• Experience in Enterprise work environment.
• Good to have experience on the following technologies: Snowflake, Azure DevOps Boards, GitHub.

• Having experience with data profiling, data quality analysis, building business data glossaries and data catalogs is beneficial.
• Having experience in building large-scale batch and/or real-time data pipelines with data processing frameworks in cloud platforms and/or on-premises is beneficial.
• Knowledge regarding data governance and master/reference data management programs is beneficial.
